      Further Information

      Material

      • Mal Mal also known as F74 is the thinnest, lightest material that we provide. It is ideal for trying a Dastaar for the first time as it is extremely soft and light.
      • Tip Top Voile is a thin light weight material, very similar to the standard F74/Mal Mal, however slightly more robust.
      • Full Voile material is what we describe as a medium weight material, which makes it extremely versatile.
      • Rubia material is the thickest Dastaar material we provide, ideal for a more defined Dastaar.
      • For more information, see our page - "What material is right for me"".

      Stitching Service

We offer a stitching service for a double-stitch (seen) Dastaar or Parna. The charge for this is £3 per Dastaar. If you would like to discuss this please contact us here.

      Colour Disclaimer

Although we do our best to display the material colour as accurate as possible, the actual colour may vary. This is due to different screens and browsers displaying the colour in different ways. We appreciate your understanding with this.

      Sample Piece

If you would like to order a sample piece of material, please see the Turban Material Samples we have to offer. We recommend buying a sample if you are colour matching to something specific.

Lovely colour but be mindful of colours shown on images

      **Colour:**
Lovely colour, I've been looking for this stone colour for a while that isn't too light as I wanted to wear it mainly for work so this is perfect. However, I would say that the Khaki Stone colour in real is exactly how you would imagine Khaki Stone to look like - best of both shades. The photo however shows it to be a more browny/tan colour which it unfortunately isn't. It's nonetheless a lovely colour that I've ended up wearing just as much casually, as well as for work. Received lots of compliments from everyone who sees me in this colour Dastaar as it seems to complement my (lightish) skin colour too.

      **Material:**
I got it in Full Voile which is medium thickness as I found the thinner one too thin and the thick one too thick. As it's thicker than standard malmal (which I tie 5m in), I only need about 4m or slightly less in FV/Rubia (it still ties into a normal sized dastaar - it doesn't look tiny with the less length).

**Tip:** Materials do tend to get a little more softer each time you wash and wear them which I'm hoping for but it is really nice to tie at the moment too. I do leave materials to soak in comfort and dry twice before wearing any new dastaar to ensure the starch is drained out and to make it a little softer especially for the first wear.
